Collage BroochesWhen I start making this jewelry, I never know where I am going to end up. I do have fun, but I have such a hard time making decisions that sometimes I may sit on a piece for a week just deciding on which vintage charm to use. Occasionally, I will add a new crystal or charm to fill in an empty looking spot. I use all sorts of different vintage jewelry including chains, earrings, charms, necklaces, old rosaries, pins and even old hat pins. Currently, I am only offering brooches, however, my plans are to get even more creative. Stop back..... maybe you'll see something you like. I'm often asked how I determine the pricing of these pins. Well, it's certainly not very scientific. It always has to do with the quality of the old jewelry that I am using, and how long it takes me to make it. Sometimes I find a nice looking belt buckle or shoe buckle and just stick a clasp on the back ~ and there you have it ~ a pretty pin. In this case, of course, it would be priced lower than one that used signature earrings in. I really wish that I was better at taking pictures, as these pictures never really show the actual quality of the pins. So if you have any hints or suggestions ~~~ let me know!!
